🌟 Help Make This School Year Amazing! Become a Room Parent🌟

Looking for a fun way to support your child’s teacher, connect with other families, and help create memorable experiences for our students? We'd love to have you join our Room Parent team!

The primary role of a Room Parent is to partner with and support your assigned classroom teacher by helping plan and coordinate class celebrations throughout the school year. Room Parents help bring a little extra fun and community spirit to the classroom by taking the lead on a variety of activities, including:

• Planning and hosting classroom parties. Room Parents organize, prepare, and help facilitate classroom celebrations that take place during the school day. This includes:

  • ❄️ Winter Party – Friday, December 18, 2026
  • 💕 Valentine’s Party – Friday, February 12, 2027

• Supporting the End-of-Year Celebration. While the PTA Board will coordinate the End-of-Year Party, Room Parents are asked to volunteer during their grade level’s party time. It takes lots of helping hands to make this special event a success!

  • 🎉☀️ End-of-Year Party – Monday, May 17, 2027

• Keeping families informed. Room Parents help communicate important information to classroom families, including party details, teacher birthday reminders, classroom projects, and special teacher needs.

• Building community. The PTA has created a WhatsApp Community with grade-level channels to help families stay connected, share important updates, and support classroom and school activities. Room Parents will serve as administrators for their grade-level WhatsApp channel.

• Being a positive champion for our school community. Most importantly, Room Parents provide encouragement and support for teachers, students, and our school while helping create a welcoming and engaging environment for everyone.
